If your home still has old can lights with hot incandescent or CFL bulbs, an LED retrofit swaps the guts while keeping the housings. You get brighter, cleaner light, a fraction of the heat in the attic, and bulbs that last years instead of months.
Less heat in the attic matters in Florida. Every watt of lighting heat is heat your air conditioner has to remove, so efficient lighting and efficient cooling work together.
Low-voltage landscape lighting
Landscape lighting does three jobs: it makes the yard usable after dark, it shows off the landscaping you paid for, and it deters the kind of visitors you do not want. Low-voltage systems are safe, efficient, and easy to expand.

Common questions
How much does recessed lighting cost per room?
It depends on the number of cans, attic access, and whether new circuits are needed. We look at the room, lay out the placement, and give you the price in writing before work begins.
Can you convert my old can lights to LED?
Yes. LED retrofit kits fit most existing recessed housings and take a fraction of the time of a full replacement. We also verify the dimmers are LED-rated so the new lights do not flicker.
Is landscape lighting expensive to run?
No. Low-voltage LED landscape systems draw very little power. A typical system costs less per month to run than one old incandescent floodlight.
Do I need new circuits for added lighting?
Sometimes. Lighting loads are small, but code limits how much goes on a circuit, and older homes may have no spare capacity. We check the panel and add a circuit if the existing ones are full.
Can landscape lighting go on a timer?
Yes, and we recommend it. A photocell or timer turns the system on at dusk and off when you choose, so the yard is lit every night without you touching a switch.
